Sandy Wallace Cycles (taking its name from the bike shop in Inverkeithing) is a well established cycling club in Scotland, with a wide and far reaching membership. Organised by Sandy Wallace, himself, Sandy Wallace Cycles is one of the most successful racing clubs in Scotland.

Sandy is keen to support the development of women's cycling in Scotland so in 2008 he approached several women, including former Three Peaks Cyclo-cross winner and current Scottish Olympic and 10 mile time trial champion, Mari Todd.

When Sandy asked Jay to become the women's captain in the summer of 2010, he did not quite realise what he was getting himself into! Since then Jay has devoted her time and energy into building and developing the women's side of the club. With a strong focus on developing the skills required for racing, with invaluable support from coach Jon Kelly, Jay has organised several training and social events across Scotland, England and Ireland, ensuring that the social side of cycling is not forgotten. Many new and lasting friendships have been formed!
